As an electronic component manufacturer, the Hokuriku Electric Industry Group accurately assesses the environmental impact of its business activities, products, and services associated with production. We promote environmental conservation activities based on our Environmental Management System (EMS).

(1) Establishment of Environmental Objectives and Targets and Continuous Improvement

1. Establish and periodically review environmental objectives and targets within technically and economically feasible limits.
2. Strive for continuous improvement in environmental conservation activities and environmental performance.

(2) Compliance with Laws, Regulations, and Other Requirements

We will not only comply with environmental laws, regulations, and other agreed requirements, but also establish voluntary standards within technically and economically feasible limits to further advance environmental conservation.

(3) Environmental Protection and Reduction of Environmental Impact Substances

1. Strive to prevent environmental pollution.
2. Reduce greenhouse gas emissions generated by business activities. Promote the development, manufacturing, and sales of environmentally conscious products to mitigate climate change.
3. Reduce the amount of waste generated in business activities, strive for reuse and recycling, and advance the transition to a circular economy.
4. We will consider the conservation of biodiversity.
5. Establish a Chemical Management System (CMS) to strive for the complete elimination, removal, or substitution of environmentally harmful substances and comply with domestic and international chemical regulations.
6. Strive to reduce environmental impact from a life cycle assessment (LCA) perspective.
