Initiatives for Respecting Human Rights
Basic Approach
Our company has established a "Human Rights Policy" and will thoroughly eliminate discrimination based on race, nationality, gender, etc., as well as child labor and forced labor, in order to respect the human rights of all people.
Initiatives Based on the Human Rights Policy
In our business activities, we respect human rights, including those expressed in the International Bill of Human Rights and the principles concerning fundamental rights and rights at work outlined in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
Furthermore, within our supply chain, we promote "Responsible Mineral Procurement" as a procurement activity that considers human rights risks such as conflict minerals, forced labor, and child labor. We are committed to procuring minerals used in our products that are not associated with human rights abuses or labor issues.
Respect for Human Rights
We do not discriminate based on race, age, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, pregnancy, religion, or other circumstances, and we promote equal opportunity and fair treatment.
Furthermore, we prohibit child labor involving individuals below the minimum working age and forced labor that compels employees to work against their will at all Group facilities, and we conduct annual internal audits.
Prevention of Harassment
Our group is strengthening efforts to prevent harassment targeting all workers employed by us, including temporary staff and technical interns.
We implement preventive measures against harassment that degrades the workplace environment or infringes on an individual's dignity, along with employee training. We also display awareness posters in the workplace, signed jointly by the President and department heads, to ensure awareness.
Furthermore, we have established clear consultation procedures through Establish regulations. prevent any disadvantageous treatment of those who report incidents, we provide training for consultation desk personnel and have established protocols for handling harassment cases.
