Promoting Employee Health
Promoting Health Management
We prioritize employee health promotion, advancing both health maintenance/improvement and increased company productivity. We believe that working to improve working conditions and the workplace environment is essential for company development. We have formulated a ‘Health Management Declaration’ and are actively pursuing health management. We have already obtained DBJ Health Management Rating Financing Certification and continue to pursue ongoing improvement. Our company has obtained certification under the Toyama Healthy Company Declaration.

The DBJ Health Rating is a program by the Development Bank of Japan that evaluates and selects companies demonstrating outstanding efforts in employee health care.

The Toyama Healthy Enterprise initiative is a program jointly established by Toyama Prefecture and the Toyama Branch of the National Health Insurance Association to support, promote, and encourage health management and health-building efforts.
Employee Health Management (Collaboration with Health Insurance Associations and Occupational Physicians)
Employee health management is a major challenge for companies. We collaborate not only with the company but also with the health insurance association and occupational physicians to conduct health checkups that go beyond the legally required items. Furthermore, from the perspective of preventing lifestyle-related diseases and excessive workloads, occupational physicians and public health nurses provide direct health guidance to employees.
Prevention of Excessive Workload
To prevent excessive workloads and raise awareness, we conduct overtime patrols twice monthly through joint labor-management efforts. Furthermore, we have implemented an interval system between shifts. Using a web-based system, we manage and guide all employees to ensure they receive adequate rest periods.
Mental Health
Employee mental healthcare is a critical issue directly linked to improving psychological safety and engagement in the workplace. We implement measures such as web-based stress tests to prevent onset and enable early detection.
We also invite external experts as lecturers to conduct seminars for managers and supervisors, as well as for different job levels, and the scope of participants is expanding year by year.

Mental Health Seminars
Health Consultation System (24-Hour Telephone Consultation Service)
We provide a health consultation service accessible to all employees and their families. By establishing a system where concerns can be discussed with external specialists, we help reduce stress in daily life and at work.
The labor union also operates a similar consultation system, addressing concerns that may be difficult to discuss in the workplace.

Employee Benefits
Enhancing Employee Benefits (Introduction of the Finance Wellness Program)
As part of our welfare system, we continue initiatives aimed at supporting employees’ financial well-being (enhancing employee financial wellness).
All employees participate in the defined contribution pension plan, and we are expanding this system.
Enhancing the Employee Stock Ownership Plan and increasing participation rates is expected to create a virtuous cycle: each employee approaches their work with a shareholder perspective, enhancing corporate value while also improving engagement. Currently, we provide a monthly incentive equal to 10% of contributions, and the participation rate has reached 64.3% (FY2024, same period as previous year ).

Work Style Reform & Various Supports
Work-Life Balance
In conjunction with work style reform, we are promoting initiatives such as reducing working hours, encouraging the use of paid leave, taking refreshment leave, implementing shortened work hours, staggered commuting times, and utilizing the flextime system. Labor-management cooperation is advancing these efforts, including monitoring paid leave utilization rates through the Labor-Management Committee.
Childcare Support
Amidst Japan’s declining birthrate and aging population, companies are increasingly expected to implement measures supporting employees’ work-life balance. Our company has extended childcare leave to two years and expanded reduced-hour work arrangements to cover the period until a child graduates elementary school, creating systems that surpass requirements under the Act on Promotion of Measures to Support the Development of the Next Generation and the Child Care and Family Care Leave Act.Additionally, family allowances are now provided until children graduate from university. These ongoing efforts have maintained a 100% childcare leave uptake rate and return-to-work rate for women, significantly contributing to women’s advancement. To make childcare leave more accessible for men, we provide awareness training to managers and supervisors about its necessity, leading to increased uptake. We have also been certified under Toyama Prefecture’s “Genki Toyama! Childcare Support Companies” initiative. As a company actively committed to supporting the balance of work and childcare, we foster a supportive environment for childcare and promote the creation of workplace conditions that facilitate this balance.
Caregiving Support
Amidst the societal challenges of a declining birthrate and aging population, the need for caregiving is increasing, making it essential to improve the workplace environment for employees.
Our company encourages employees to take long-term care leave as needed, strengthening our caregiving support. Furthermore, we maintain a 100% return-to-work rate after caregiving leave.
